E3 2018 came and went, leaving us with some jaw dropping awestruck moments with announcements of  new unexpected titles and updates on the previously announced one's.

Let's dive into what I'm looking forward to the most in the upcoming year.(2018-2019)
Also let's note that I'm actually gonna be mentioning those games that have at least a confirmed  release date or a release window of 2018 or 2019.

6.Assassin's creed Odyssey.

Now many would think that Assassin's creed odyssey is origins 1.5 which by the is obvious at first glance seeing they even use the same hud  color and interface,
Not to mention that greeks were a heavy part of the Assassin's creed origins story.

But if you look closely, especially the twenty minutes game play demo released that there are a lot of new tweaks here and there.
You now can choose between a male or a female main character which for me is a welcome change.
Tweaks such as adding dialogue and romance options which I'm totally looking forward to thus making the game a full on light RPG.
Origins story line and dialogues were so boring and dull that I slept through most of them, this however looks immersive,at least the quest they showed at the e3 demo.
Even the combat seem to have improved for the better which is clearly noticeable.
The shields are gone and the sword play feels much better and light, the mobility of the character seems to have improved too.
Also the games looks just so freaking gorgeous.
I know Assassin's creed origins was an eye candy but mostly the forest areas.
I'm really not a fan of large deserts but it looked good nevertheless.
Here in Odyssey we see clear skies, blue oceans, snowy mountains and so much more which is far more interesting as a landscape.

Assassin's creed odyssey launches on 5th october ,2018.

5.Metro exodus.

Metro exodus' clear inspiration seems to be the Fallout games from Bethesda game studios and I believe just like me,many other fallout 4 fans will be interested to dive in the next chapter of Metro games developed by Ukrainian Malta-based sudio 4A games and published by Deep silver when it launches on February  22nd,2019.
Of course keeping aside the role playing elements of  the game,Metro Exodus seems to have borrowed a lot such as  post apocalyptic  open environments, crafting elements,a day night cycle ,dynamic weather system  and mixing it with horror survival aspects of  the previous Metro games and add onto that the jaw dropping photo realistic graphics.
It seems to be the  complete post apocalyptic first person shooter with a full single player campaign
(I'm looking at you Fallout 76) that fans just needed and I'll surely be getting this.

Metro exodus is coming on 22nd feb,2019.

4.Resident evil 2 remake.

This was one of those chilling announcements that leaves you with goosebumps.
I started my adventure with Resident evil 4 and was blown away by every aspect of the game.
Leon S kennedy will always be my favourite Resident evil character.
So playing the origin story of Leon and the actual events of the Racoon city re-imagined on the powerful RE engine is like a dream come true.
It surely is.
Resident evil 2 remake launches on 25th January,2019.

3.Devil May Cry 5.

Devil may cry 5 is back baby!
After a gap of ten years (if you don't count the DmC game developed by Ninja theory in 2013)
Capcom is back and using the new RE engine's graphical power for a flashy return of Nero and Dante in this direct sequel to 2008's Devil may cry 4.
Capcom has confirmed there will be three main characters in this game with Nero taking the lead as usual.
Now time has changed a lot and as of now I don't play much hack and slash games because I find it very repetitive,at least that's what was the case with Bayonetta.
But then I loved the Devil may cry 4 back then and I also adored the DmC game by Ninja theory.

Since Devil may cry 5 seems like a baby of both the games it makes me even more excited for this.
Also, director Hideaki Itsuno claims this to be his best work yet which makes me even more hyped about this.
As of now,Devil may cry 5 is supposed to launch before march,2019.

2.Sekiro:Shadows die twice.

I was sold on this game the moment they showed a teaser back at "The game awards" last year.
Hidetaka Miyazaki  and his team at "From software" are a master at creating complex and the most amazing level design in video games, add to that a breath taking artistic world and the most satisfying combat system.Do we even need anything else?
Geez no wonder Bloodborne is my game of the generation thus far and this will undoubtedly be  a day one purchase for me.

Sekiro is coming early 2019.

1.Red dead redemption 2.

Rockstar games were a no show at e3 2018 but then they are like Batman.
Red dead redemption 2 doesn't need any kind of marketing or promotions because the people who have played the previous part knows its worth,
I just cannot wait to unfold the legendary tale of dutch van der linde and his gang, and how Arthur morgan's story plays out ultimately.
Red dead redemption had some of the finest story telling and characters in any of the entertainment industry and it captured the heart of the wild west like no other medium had done ever.
It will be interesting to see how the sequel manages to beat the mountain of expectations which Red dead redemption set 8 years ago.

Red dead redemption 2 launches on 26th October,2018.
